A46 crash Leicester The A46 has been closed to traffic due to a collision between a lorry and two cars. The road is closed from the A6006 Paddys Lane on the southbound carriageway at Six Hills to the A607 Cossington Lane, Sileby.

The post said: "Traffic Update | 12:00 | The Southbound A46 at Six Hills is currently closed due to a road accident. Please avoid this area. Thank you".
The traffic monitoring application Inrix has confirmed the vehicles involved in the incident. "The A46 Southbound has been closed, traffic is in line due to the accident, a lorry and two cars have been involved on the A6006 Paddys Lane (Six Hills) to A607 Cossington Lane (Sileby)," the statement said.
Leicestershire Police have issued an update on the incident. A force spokesman said: "We were Dec just after 11.15pm. The collision involved an HGV and two other vehicles." They added: "No life-threatening or life-changing injuries have been reported, but officers remain at the scene. "
